Job summary

José Andrés Group in Orlando is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering flawless daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a high‑performing team.

The AGM will lead floor operations across all dayparts, uphold SOPs, manage openings and closing, and drive guest satisfaction while coaching supervisors and frontline staff in a values‑driven hospitality culture.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of progressive FOH leadership in upscale/casual dining or fine dining.
Experience leading teams on a busy floor, managing costs, quality and compliance.
Knowledge of reservations and POS platforms; scheduling tools and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

Lead floor operations to service standards across all dayparts and activations.
Uphold SOPs, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, reservations, guest flow, and shift deployment.
Ensure facility readiness, cleanliness, and health, safety and labor compliance.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly staff.
Foster inclusive, accountable culture aligned to JAG values.
Support openings, events, and private dining/service executions.
