The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to work closely with the GM and lead daily restaurant operations in a high-volume setting. This role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The AGM will run shifts, coach staff, maintain service standards, and help with scheduling, inventory, and training. A path to future general management is encouraged, with a focus on developing a strong, positive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as AGM, Restaurant Manager, or strong Service Manager.
• Experience in polished full-service or high-volume dining.
• Seafood or raw bar experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Ability to lead shifts and maintain service standards.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and restaurant systems.
• Ability to handle guest issues professionally.
• Detail-oriented with cleanliness and presentation.
• Desire to develop into future General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM with daily restaurant operations.
• Independently run shifts and manage the restaurant.
• Coach and develop employees.
• Maintain service and hospitality standards.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and readiness; handle guest concerns and recovery.
• Assist with training and onboarding.
• Help maintain inventory and operational controls.
• Communicate issues to the GM.
• Take ownership of problems through to resolution.
