Job summary

Wendy's in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales and operational metrics in a fast-paced setting.

The AGM will supervise daily operations, manage scheduling, hire and train staff, and collaborate with the General Manager to maintain financial controls while ensuring health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, rotating shifts, incl weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, development and team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
