Job summary

Maroon, a Jamaica-inspired Las Vegas steakhouse, seeks an experienced venue operations leader to guide daily floor management, staff coaching, guest experience and the highest standards of health and sanitation.

You will assist with recruiting, training, scheduling and retention, analyze P&L, budgets and labor costs, and drive productivity with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Has five (5) years of hospitality industry experience required, educational experience considered
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
• Ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meet financial goals
• The ability to maintain a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
• Superior organizational and follow up skills with extreme attention to detail
• Has an exceptional personality, attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be polished, professional, friendly, and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Strong email, PC and Internet skills - including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in a hospitality driven environment
• Strong guest service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical,problem-solving and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and retention
• Evaluate and develop processes to maintain and improve performance and productivity
• Assist in maintaining standards of health, safety and sanitation
• Directly responsible for the coaching and development of venue chefs and managers
• Administers progressive discipline and attendance points according to company policy
• Defines Employee Standards of Conduct and ensures employee compliance
• Manage day-to-day operations, including floor management, staff management and guest experience
• Assist with the development and implementation of annual budgets, operating plans, policies and procedures, productivity, team engagement, and responsible for progress and completion
• Administrative responsibilities including P&L analysis, maintaining budgets, costs of goods, labor costs, expenses, overtime, inventory and customer feedback
