Nbutexas in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead the opening of an upscale fast-casual restaurant concept. This role offers a key leadership position to build a strong team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support day-to-day operations in a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

You will oversee operations with the General Manager, participate in hiring and training for the new store, manage labor and inventory, and coach staff to uphold service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in upscale environments.
• Ability to lead teams in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with team development focus.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team.
• Willingness to travel 6 weeks for training in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations with General Manager.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training for new store opening.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
• Help manage labor scheduling, inventory control, and performance.
• Lead by example on the floor, coaching staff.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Support cost controls and revenue goals to aid financial performance.
