Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Indianapolis to lead day-to-day center operations, ensuring top-notch customer care and efficient team performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and demonstrated leadership and customer service experience. You will participate in ongoing U-Haul education and support the center with various duties and shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership and customer service experience is essential.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
