José Andrés Group in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to uphold Michelin-starred service standards in minibar by José Andrés. You will partner with the General Manager and culinary leadership to orchestrate refined service and guest experiences in a chef-driven environment.

The AGM mentors the front-of-house team, ensures operational excellence, and maintains the meticulous standards that define minibar. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years leadership in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants.
• Experience leading teams in tasting menu or chef-driven environments.
• Strong service instincts and luxury hospitality passion.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dining room operations during multi-course tasting service.
• Maintain Michelin-level hospitality, attention to detail, and service choreography.
• Coordinate with culinary/beverage teams for timing and communication during service.
• Oversee reservations, guest pacing, table management, and service flow.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and operational standards.
