Job summary

José Andrés Group is seeking a General Manager in Washington, DC to own the restaurant business, lead a multi-site management team, and deliver exceptional hospitality. You will drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, and brand standards while partnering with culinary, beverage, and operations leaders to grow the business.

You will recruit and develop leaders, manage a dynamic schedule including nights and weekends, and uphold safety, compliance, and community relations as key

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years FOH leadership in high-volume dining; 2+ years as GM preferred.
• Proven ownership of P&L and delivering revenue, cost, and guest-satisfaction results.
• Able to lead, develop, and inspire a large hourly team and managers.
• Expert knowledge of service standards, safety, cash controls, and compliance.
• Systems fluency: reservations, POS, scheduling, and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and KPIs for the property and translate goals into operating plans.
• Lead and develop the management team; ensure brand standards and compliance.
• Own the P&L: forecast revenue, manage COGS, labor and controllables.
• Oversee inventory, procurement, vendor relations, and waste control.
• Drive guest satisfaction, manage recovery, and monitor feedback.
• Collaborate with Chef, HR, Finance, Facilities, Marketing and Events.
