Job summary

Taziki's Café in Chattanooga, TN is hiring an Assistant General Manager who will lead daily restaurant operations, coach teams, and ensure outstanding guest service.

You'll partner with the General Manager, manage labor and food costs, and help with hiring and training. This full-time role offers growth, a people-first culture, and benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant or hospitality leadership experience.
• Must be at least 21 and able to obtain a Food Manager certification after hire.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Tech-friendly with Google Suite experience a plus.
• Experience reviewing P&L statements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members.
• Maintain a positive work environment and guest service.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.
• Monitor labor and food costs and report findings.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and food handling standards.
• Work in both kitchen and service stations as needed.
