Job summary

Hyde Park Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan International Airport. The role focuses on hands-on daily operations, guest satisfaction, and leading a premium lounge team in a seven‑day operation with weekend/holiday coverage.

Responsibilities include overseeing guest services, HR duties, scheduling, payroll, and training, while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards and achieving financial targets in a fast-paced airport

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-end hospitality operations and guest services.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to train and develop staff while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Active in the daily operations
• Oversee a high-end guest experience through collaborative partnerships and premium dining atmosphere
• Ensure front-line team stocks all guest interfacing sections of lounge
• Motivates and leads front-line team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
• Ensures lounge operates at a high level
• Maintain relationships with guests and clients
• Conduct HR functions including recruiting, hiring, counseling, and terminations
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and team training with GM
• Develop and mentor frontline and management staff
• Ensure completion of training programs and certifications
• Achieve financial targets
• Direct activities of up to 30 team members
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Ensure Hyde Park Hospitality standards and safety programs
• Report and track maintenance issues
• Establish a safe work environment with safety audits
• Comply with TSA and airport regulations
• Other duties as assigned
