Job summary

Rackson Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New York, NY. The AGM will supervise all restaurant activities during shifts, support the management team, and ensure adherence to brand standards and safety policies.

The role focuses on guest service, profitability, and staff development in a fast‑paced environment. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the AGM will assist with training, decision‑making, and executing limited GM duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
• Communication in English required; Spanish comprehension helpful.
• Previous fast food management experience required.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage performance metrics and management systems.
• Technical proficiency in food preparation, production, and delivery; knowledge of food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all restaurant activities during shift and ensures smooth operations.
• Supports management in staff management and financial performance execution.
• Ensures compliance with brand standards for service, quality and safety.
• Leads, trains and develops team members while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Coordinates staffing, inventory, and administrative duties; assists in cost control and cash handling.
