Job summary

HAZA Foods is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations at our Minnetonka, Minnesota location. You will help lead a high-volume team, drive sales, and uphold customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, incl weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing with access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent and ability to meet state and federal requirements.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
