Applegreen, a network of travel plazas in the Northeast and Midwest, seeks an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily operations at Old Bridge, NJ. You will lead a team, ensure quality service, manage shifts, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have strong leadership and communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and 2+ years in quick-service management or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff and coordinate shifts.

• Motivate staff during low morale and maintain team energy.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and brand standards upheld.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and daily reporting.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Keep inventory accurate with spot counts and checks.
