Job summary

KBP Brands, the operator behind KFC locations, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-paced restaurant with a focus on service, teamwork, and operational excellence. You will coach staff, drive daily performance, and develop future leaders while delivering memorable guest experiences.

You will manage schedules, control labor and food costs, uphold food safety and quality standards, and ensure a clean, safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long shifts, and operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach your team to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly to ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain KFC’s standards for food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve challenges that arise during your shift.
