Job summary

Shake Shack in Washington, DC is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach the team, manage inventory and safety, and drive sales while upholding the Shack standard of hospitality.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and local health code compliance, while developing people and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced, community-focused brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume setting.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, personnel management, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
• Ability to train others on Shack operations.
• Demonstrated hospitality leadership and motivation of teams.
• Strong leadership with coaching and excellence focus.
• Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
• Food handler certification preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
