Job summary

Mister Car Wash is hiring for an Assistant General Manager in Training (AGM IT) to prepare you for the AGM role through an accelerated development program. Work with a Certified Trainer to learn daily operations, staff development, and performance management in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of leadership experience, enjoy coaching others, and are motivated to grow into general management across a nationwide brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience: leading a team, supervising shifts or managing people in a customer-facing environment.
• Understanding of high-volume retail or service operations to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
• Ability to take initiative and lead by example, modeling values while driving performance and accountability.
• Strong coaching and development skills with clear, constructive feedback to grow team members.
• Stay organized in fast-moving environments with competing priorities and constant activity.
• Positive, people-oriented attitude and energy for outdoor, fast-paced settings.
• Ambition to grow into a leadership role in a rapidly expanding, people-first company.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily operations fundamentals from opening/closing to safety and site flow.
• Understand performance data and make decisions that drive results.
• Strengthen team development, coaching, and performance management.
• Support staffing, recruitment, and employee relations.
• Learn basic functional and mechanical skills to maintain the facility and meet customer quality expectations.
• Progress through accelerated development program to eventually lead a full location as GM.
