You will oversee budgeting, training, and operations, ensuring adherence to Highgate SOPs and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5-6 years progressive experience in a hotel.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts, meeting clients, hosting luncheons and receptions, and meeting with on-site contacts daily.
• Tour the operating departments daily, making adjustments as needed via department heads.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions according to Highgate Hotel standards.
• Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs on time.
• Forecast monthly the hotel's financial position and reforecast as needed.
• Participate in M.O.D. coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain training and development of managers and trainees.
• Ensure department heads follow budgeted productivity and checkbook procedures.
• Oversee budget processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance through inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain professional appearance and hospitality standards.
