THE ONE GROUP is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and drive a high-energy guest experience consistent with the Vibe Dining brand.

The role requires managing, guiding, and mentoring the team to deliver outstanding service, managing budgets and costs, and partnering with marketing to attract and retain guests. Expect a dynamic, ratio-driven environment with a strong leadership focus.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and reports.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• ServSafe alcohol service certification preferred.
• Shift flexibility including weekends, nights, and holidays (50+ hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: lead and mentor managers and hourly staff to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Team Development & Staffing: recruit, interview, and onboard management and hourly staff; foster a high-performance team.
• Financial & Business Performance: monitor forecasts, labor costs, and operating expenses; review monthly P&L and ensure target adherence.
• Marketing & Guest Relations: collaborate with marketing to create promotions and strengthen relationships with regular guests and influencers.
