Job summary

THE ONE GROUP is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive financial performance, and maintain a high-energy dining environment matching our signature Vibe Dining experience.

You will lead, educate, and mentor the team to ensure exceptional guest experiences, managing managers and hourly staff while aligning with brand standards. Eligible candidates bring restaurant leadership and strong people skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
• Must possess a valid driver's license where applicable.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must agree to background check.
• ServSafe alcohol service certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and drive financial performance.
• Lead, educate, and mentor the team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage, lead, and mentor managers and hourly staff to maintain high guest service levels.
• Monitor sales forecasts, labor costs, and operating expenses to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional ideas and guest engagement strategies.
