Job summary

Sherman Associates in Minnesota seeks an Assistant General Manager to support guest and employee satisfaction, ensure brand compliance, and drive financial performance. You will assist the GM in leading the hotel team to achieve service excellence.

The AGM will manage labor, contribute to sales and marketing efforts, oversee training, and maintain safety and regulatory standards while upholding Sherman Associates' mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality or Business preferred.
• Significant management and customer service experience required.
• Front office, yield management and housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the operational and financial management of the property.
• Completes a property walk daily and reports to the GM on guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensures compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and procedures.
• Assists the GM with employee matters and labor management.
• Supports sales and marketing efforts as directed.
• Maintains training records and delivers department training to address guest feedback.
