Job summary

CAVA – Seminole City Center is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead guest experience and team development in our fast-paced restaurant. You’ll partner with the GM and Area Leader on store action plans, forecast labor, manage schedules, and help control costs while upholding our Mediterranean-inspired standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Members issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards to enhance guest experience.
• Implement strategies to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
• Support with managing financial aspects including tracking sales, cash handling, and budget adherence.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist with ensuring accurate financial records and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with overseeing food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management and maintaining records.
• Support the General Manager in report preparation and action plan implementation.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
