Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in North Carolina. You will oversee daily operations, uphold Sonic standards, train and supervise the team, manage inventory, ensure food safety, and handle customer issues while supporting the Managing Partner.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
