Job summary

Wendy's in Vidor, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our team, drive sales, and uphold guest satisfaction.

You will oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, financial controls, hiring/training, and coaching to build a strong, service-focused team in a fast-paced setting. A HS diploma is required, with 1 year AM experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, incl weekends and holidays.
• Valid DL in good standing and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equiv - possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the General Manager, AGM supports daily operations.
• Overseeing restaurant’s daily operations and financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Maintain health and safety inspections and standards; set the tone for a fun, family environment.
