Job summary

Eylan, the third restaurant from Cal-Indian Hospitality Group, in Menlo Park, seeks an Assistant General Manager to join our management team and execute the vision of Chef Srijith Gopinathan and Restaurateur Ayesha Thapar. This role focuses on daily operations, staff development, and financial oversight.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in restaurant management, knowledge of COGS and P&L, and experience with service training in a high-end setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant operations and teams.
• Strong understanding of food costs, labor, and P&L.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous management experience in full-service dining, high-end setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring consistent and efficient restaurant performance.
• Strengthen service training and team mentoring to uphold high standards of hospitality.
• Support financial tracking and analysis, with understanding of COGS, labor costs, and P&L statements.
• Collaborate with GM on inventory management, vendor relationships, and quality control.
• Uphold company values by fostering a respectful and supportive work environment.
