Job summary

Sexy Fish Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team and drive operational excellence in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.

This role focuses on staff development, guest satisfaction, and meticulous service standards, with hands-on involvement on the floor during peak hours and close collaboration with the GM and culinary team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of management experience in hospitality and can lead a diverse team with poise and passion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of management experience in a high-volume, upscale dining or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and guest-satisfaction focus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental logistics and monitor performance to achieve expected outcomes with GM approval
• Assist in creating new dining room offerings based on demand and guest feedback
• Oversee staff training and material generation, including menu descriptions and service manuals
• Oversee dining room service and flow, be on the floor during all meals
• Liaise with private dining contacts during events and ensure guests’ needs are met
• Lead labor management and mentor a qualified management team
• Respond to guest requests and complaints professionally when GM is not on the floor
• Ensure safety procedures and inventory controls are followed
