Job summary

The Standard Grill in New York's High Line district seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, uphold guest experience, food quality, and safety standards. You will lead and train staff, ensure SOP compliance, and support budget and profitability goals.

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will coordinate with F&B leadership, manage scheduling, and maintain high-volume service in a vibrant hospitality setting that champions culture and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the restaurant GM with daily operational tasks.
• Step up to GM position when GM is absent and lead service.
• Direct guest needs and service in restaurant and related hotel areas.
• Set operating goals and monitor budgets and financial controls.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; ensure SOPs and health standards.
