The Standard Grill at The Standard High Line is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, drive guest experiences, and guide a high‑performing team. You will work with the GM to ensure exceptional service, quality food, and a clean, safe environment.

You will lead staff training, manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources to maximize profitability and efficiency in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and train a high‑volume F&B team.
• Experience managing budgets and cost controls.
• Strong guest service focus with hospitality mindset.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM and cover leadership during shifts.
• Set operating goals and implement SOPs.
• Recruit and train restaurant staff.
• Monitor quality of food and service.
• Ensure shifts are properly staffed & scheduled.
• Maintain financial controls and records.
