Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations, uphold guest experiences, and partner with the GM to achieve financial goals. You will lead a culinary and service team, monitor safety standards, and manage budgeting, cost control, and vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and collaboration with the GM to optimize P&L and brand standards across shifts and events.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant management experience or 3–5 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM’s vision of excellence and lead a team.
• Direct daily restaurant operations to meet financial goals.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Coach team on ordering, par levels, and inventory.
• Oversee catering and off-premise food execution.
• Lead scheduling, hiring, and staff development.
