Job Category: Restaurant Management

About Levi Goode Brands & The Role

Levi Goode Brands creates restaurants that are unmistakably connected to Texas while offering guests something they cannot find anywhere else. Our concepts bring together strong storytelling, thoughtful design, exceptional food and beverage, and a level of hospitality that makes people want to return.

As Assistant General Manager, you are a key leader in bringing that point of view to life every day. You partner with the General Manager to lead the restaurant, develop a confident and caring team, protect the guest experience, and build the relationships that grow our customer base. You are both a hands-on operator and a culture carrier—someone who can move comfortably between the dining room, the kitchen, the bar, the community, and Home Office partnerships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership, Culture & Hospitality
  • Champion Levi Goode Brands' mission, values, and standards while creating a welcoming, accountable, and team-oriented restaurant culture.
  • Lead shifts with calm judgment, visible presence, ownership, and a genuine commitment to both guests and team members.
  • Model polished, gracious, and informed hospitality that reflects the personality of the concept and the standards of the company.
  • Support the General Manager in setting clear expectations and maintaining strong communication between front of house, back of house, bar, and support teams.
Customer Growth & Relationship Building
  • Grow our customer base by developing meaningful relationships with guests, team members, vendors, community partners, local businesses, and Home Office teams.
  • Learn regular guests and community stakeholders by name, recognize opportunities to deepen loyalty, and ensure service feels personal rather than transactional.
  • Represent the concept with confidence at approved events, partnerships, community activities, and brand experiences.
  • Gather and communicate guest insights, service trends, and relationship opportunities to the General Manager and relevant partners.
Operational & Financial Excellence
  • Assist with daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, service readiness, staffing, product execution, cleanliness, and facility standards.
  • Monitor sales, labor, controllable expenses, product usage, and operational reports; identify opportunities to improve performance without compromising hospitality.
  • Support menu launches, seasonal features, special events, training initiatives, and company-wide operational priorities.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, document issues accurately, and follow through on service recovery and corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, allergen, alcohol-service, workplace-safety, and brand standards.
Talent Development & Accountability
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and retain team members who demonstrate the capability and character to represent Levi Goode Brands.
  • Provide frequent feedback, recognize strong performance, address issues fairly, and help team members understand how their work contributes to the larger guest experience.
  • Build leadership depth by identifying potential, delegating thoughtfully, and giving emerging leaders opportunities to practice ownership.
  • Partner with People & Culture and restaurant leadership to administer policies, performance conversations, scheduling expectations, and team development plans consistently.
