Barcade Llc in Detroit seeks an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and guest experience. You will lead shifts, train staff, manage scheduling and timekeeping, and oversee the beer program to ensure brand standards.

The role requires 2+ years in bar/restaurant management, full-time availability including late nights and weekends, and knowledge of craft beer. You will work on a fast-paced floor with opportunities to mentor teams and drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in bar or restaurant management with service leadership.
• Full-time availability including late nights, holidays, weekends.
• Ability to lead service teams and manage floor operations in real time.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Knowledge of craft beer styles and storage.
• Willingness to learn light game maintenance (training provided).
• TIPS and CBS certification within 90 days or already certified.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated service shifts focusing on timing, pace, and guest experience.
• Assist in training and onboarding new hires across departments.
• Submit time and attendance and cash drop paperwork.
• Manage Beer Program: ordering, inventory, POS, beer menus, education.
• Ensure front-of-house aligns with Barcade standards.
• Support basic repairs and maintenance in game area.
