Job summary

Arcis Golf's Lantana Golf Club in Texas seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily club operations across golf, retail, and food & beverage, ensuring a premier member and guest experience.

You will partner with the General Manager and Department Heads to implement standards, manage revenues, payroll, inventory, and staffing, and drive initiative delivery, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Four years hospitality, customer service and management experience preferred.
• Ability to develop team members.
• Effective communication and listening skills to meet and exceed member & guests expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to create & manage SOPs for all department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee club operations in collaboration with the General Manager and Department Heads.
• Develop event programming and uphold operational standards.
• Monitor financial forecasting and results and lead the team to optimize club performance.
• Create and implement new systems, processes and services to enhance member experience and club results.
• Ensure controls to track revenues, payroll, inventory and expenses.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• The Assistant General Manager works collaboratively with the General Manager and Department Head Managers in running the operations of the club. This role is responsible for building event programing, maintaining established operational standards, monitoring financial forecasting and results, and effectively leading the team to produce the best result for the club.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing a high-caliber experience and have an established track record of success in a leadership role overseeing golf, retail, and food & beverage.
• Create and manage new systems, processes and services that create an exceptional member experience and club results.
• Ensure the proper controls are in place to accurately track revenues, payroll, inventory and expenses.
• Develops department managers and key employees to reach maximum performance and achieve all initiatives and goals.
• Shift management including nights and weekends to ensure staff members are providing excellent guest service.
