Job summary

Arcis Golf in Lantana, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations at Lantana Golf Club. You will work with the General Manager and department heads to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding our service standards.

This role requires a track record of leadership in golf, retail, and F&B, with the ability to build systems, manage budgets, and develop team members to achieve club goals, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years hospitality, customer service and management experience preferred.
• Ability to develop team members.
• Effective communication and listening skills to meet and exceed our member & guests expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to create & manage SOP's for all department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager and Department Head Managers to run club operations.
• Lead event programming and ensure a high-caliber member experience.
• Monitor financial forecasting and results; manage revenues, payroll, inventory and expenses.
• Develop department managers and key employees to reach maximum performance and club goals.
• Manage shift coverage, including nights and weekends, to ensure exceptional guest service.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• The Assistant General Manager works collaboratively with the General Manager and Department Head Managers in running the operations of the club. This role is responsible for building event programing, maintaining established operational standards, monitoring financial forecasting and results, and effectively leading the team to produce the best result for the club.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing a high-caliber experience and have an established track record of success in a leadership role overseeing golf, retail, and food & beverage.
• Create and manage new systems, processes and services that create an exceptional member experience and club results.
• Ensure the proper controls are in place to accurately track revenues, payroll, inventory and expenses.
• Develops department managers and key employees to reach maximum performance and achieve all initiatives and goals.
• Shift management including nights and weekends to ensure staff members are providing excellent guest service.
