Job summary

The NOW Massage Rochester Hills is opening a new boutique, and we’re seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead the launch. You will assist in hiring, training, and establishing daily routines to ensure a superb guest experience from day one.

As a locally owned business expanding across Metro Detroit, you will coach the front desk and massage therapist teams, drive membership and sales growth, and partner with ownership to create a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership or management experience preferred, ideally in a guest-focused service business.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare the new boutique for opening, including hiring, training, and establishing daily routines.
• Help oversee daily operations, including opening, closing, cleanliness, inventory, and brand standards.
• Coach and support the team, help address attendance and performance concerns, and assist with ongoing hiring and training.
• Assist with team scheduling and address day-to-day staffing needs.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, resolve concerns, and strengthen member relationships.
• Help drive memberships, retention, rebooking, and sales through team coaching and performance tracking.
• Support administrative tasks, local promotions, and community partnerships.

The NOW Massage is coming to Rochester Hills, and we’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant General Manager to help bring our newest boutique to life. Join us before opening to help build the team, prepare the boutique, and create an exceptional guest experience from day one.

As a locally owned business growing across Metro Detroit, we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, cares about their team and guests, and is excited to grow with us. You’ll help lead daily operations, coach our front desk and massage therapist teams, and drive membership and sales growth alongside the General Manager and ownership.

Our anticipated start date is mid-November 2026, ahead of the boutique’s planned opening in late 2026 or early 2027.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Confidence coaching employees, addressing performance concerns, and driving sales.


• A dependable, proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your responsibilities.


• Availability to work five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with consistent coverage during peak periods.
