Job summary

A growing fitness studio in Oro Valley is seeking an assistant manager to support day-to-day operations. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. Ideal candidates will possess strong management abilities and a contagious upbeat personality, along with sales experience in the fitness industry. The position offers free instructor training, employee membership, and promotional discounts, fostering a supportive community environment among team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the studio including supplies and payroll.
• Sell memberships and retail and retain/increase client participation.
• Plan and promote events through community outreach and partnerships.
• Sell memberships and retail products to clients.
• Retain and increase client participation across the studio.
• Submit accurate and timely reports to leadership.
• Plan and promote entertaining events through community outreach and partnerships.
• Serve as a SPENGA ambassador, promoting SPENGA culture inside and outside the studio.

Job description

Position Summary:

The assistant manager directly assist the GM and to ensure the studio follows set procedure to help the success of the studio. The job reports directly to the GM and provides assistance as needed to all aspect of the studio from front desk, sales, fitness training and customer service. The job encompasses everything involved in running the day-to-day operations of the SPENGA studio, from maintaining the books to the development and promotion of the SPENGA brand.

Job Requirements:

• Manage all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, payroll, scheduling, cleanliness
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage all staff to represent SPENGA
• Sell memberships and retail

• Plan and promote entertaining and productive events through community outreach and business partnerships
• As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio
