Overview

Location: New York

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus + Benefits + PTO

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

The Company

We are assisting them in their search of an Assistant General Manager to join their exceptional team.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring the restaurant is operating smoothly
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any queries or issues complaints from customers in a polite, friendly manner
• Recruit, onboard and manage the performance of staff to maintain a high level of service and professionalism
• Foster and maintain a positive and motivating work culture
• Ensure compliance with the restaurant’s standards and legislation in areas such as restaurant operations, guest relations, labor costs, food costs, sanitation and preparation
• Financially astute, managing cost controls and inventories

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ managerial experience, preferably from a fast-paced, upscale restaurant
• In-depth wine/beverage knowledge is preferred
• Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
• A natural, hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality and creating incredible guest experience
• Experience using various POS systems, scheduling and reporting systems
