Job summary

Massage Envy is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Green Valley location. You will lead daily operations and inspire a team of therapists, estheticians, and front‑desk staff to deliver exceptional client experiences.

You’ll drive membership growth, promote retail services, and partner with the franchisee to set goals while mentoring staff to reach them. Join a dynamic environment focused on care and community.

Qualifications

• Background in management, marketing, sales, service or retail.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the location, ensuring a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment; guide sales and customer service teams to resolve challenges.
• Drive membership growth and promote retail sales; set performance goals with the franchisee.
• Build a high‑performing team through training, mentorship, and performance reviews.
• Manage inventory and deposits and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws for location staff.
• Foster a strong workplace culture where employees feel valued and aligned with the mission.

Daily work in this role includes:

  Leading the way to an amazing experience for members and guestsby managing the daily operations of the location, maintaining a clean, safe, therapeutic environment for everyone, and guiding the sales and customer service team to positively resolve customer challenges.

  Helping the location move more people forward in their wellness journeysby driving membership, promoting retail sales, partnering with the franchisee to set performance goals, and working with the team to achieve them.

  Building a high-achieving teamby setting clear expectations, providing ongoing training and mentorship, and reviewing performance regularly to empower team members to improve and grow.

  Running a tight shipwhere every operational detail is addressed, from managing inventory and deposits to ensuring compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to location employees (including any local and state licensing laws for massage therapists and estheticians).
