Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

• Associate's Degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school OR Six months to one year of related experience and/or training OR An equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to attend required meetings and training sessions, including annual safety training
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to positively represent Flagler Cooperative Association
• Dedication to continuous quality improvement
• Ability to uphold company policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information to individuals and small groups
• Strong mathematical aptitude including percentages, ratios, and measurements
• Problem-solving, organization, concentration, and interpersonal communication skills

DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the daily success of the Ace Hardware operation by creating an exceptional customer experience while helping maintain efficient store operations. Throughout your day, you'll interact with customers, support employees, address challenges, participate in meetings and training, promote safety, represent Flagler Cooperative Association positively, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement. By combining strong leadership, customer service, communication, and organizational skills, you'll help ensure the store remains a trusted destination for the community while contributing to the cooperative's continued success.
