Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Denver is seeking a motivated Hotel Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations and drive guest satisfaction along with profitability. This hands-on leader will manage front desk operations, guest service, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting while upholding brand standards and service excellence.

The role involves acting as Manager on Duty, coordinating with Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping and Maintenance, and working to continuously improve processes and guest

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience or equivalent.
  • Open availability (AM, PM, weekends, and holidays).
  • Friendly, professional and guest-focused attitude.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Fosse system preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
  • Lead guest service efforts to ensure high satisfaction and promptly resolve concerns.
  • Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff on service standards, systems and brand expectations.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll support, reporting and inventory management.
  • Act as Manager on Duty including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Support the General Manager with daily operations, staff accountability and planning.
  • Maximize ADR, occupancy, RevPAR and profitability through operational execution.
  • Understand financial statements, budgets, forecasting and KPIs.
  • Coordinate communication between Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Front Office.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and guest experience.
  • Guide and implement policies, procedures and systems to improve operations.
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment and culture of accountability.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management and succession planning.
  • Step into the General Manager's responsibilities in their absence.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, guest-focused Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence and profitability. This position is designed for an experienced hospitality leader who is ready to take the next step toward becoming a General Manager. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, results‑driven professional with strong operational expertise, open availability, and the ability to lead by example in a fast‑paced environment.

Prior Marriott Experience Is Preferred.

Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries

  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning for hotel staff.
  • Step into the General Manager's responsibilities in their absence, ensuring seamless hotel operations.
Job Qualifications
  • An experienced Assistant General Manager with 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations or previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality preferred
  • Open availability (AM, PM, weekends, and holidays as needed)
  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with Fosse system preferred
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
