Job summary

Dimension Hospitality in Austin seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager on daily hotel operations, leading front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to deliver exceptional service and solid financial results.

You will be a visible leader who builds culture, coaches teams, and makes decisions that elevate guest experience while maximizing performance. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily hotel operations and leadership tasks.
• Oversee department leaders and ensure smooth interdepartmental communication.
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by resolving issues and supporting service recovery.
• Monitor cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance.
• Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Lead by example to maintain a positive, professional environment.
• Support implementation of hotel initiatives, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure staffing levels support service needs across the hotel.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
