Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks an Assistant General Counsel to lead in-house real estate and data center transactions in Austin, TX. The role focuses on complex deals, project finance, and energy arrangements, collaborating with Corporate Strategy, Treasury, and Facilities teams.

You will own end-to-end deals from diligence to structuring, negotiating sophisticated terms, and building scalable playbooks for ongoing infrastructure initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with complex real estate, data center, or digital infrastructure deals.
• Experience with capital markets and structured finance transactions.
• Understanding of leasing, development, construction, lending, title, zoning, and land use.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across lifecycle of data center transactions including site selection and power procurement.
• Support financing structures and credit support arrangements.
• Coordinate with treasury, finance, and capital markets on deal docs and negotiations.
• Develop templates and playbooks for recurring data center, infrastructure, and energy transactions.
• Manage outside counsel to control costs and timelines.
• Partner with Strategy and Real Estate teams on capital allocation and deployment.
