Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its in-house real estate and corporate affairs team in Austin. You will lead high‑value data center and infrastructure transactions, coordinate with Corporate Strategy, Treasury, and Engineering, and shape playbooks for scalable deal execution.

You will negotiate complex terms, assess financing structures, and balance legal risk with speed of execution in a fast‑paced tech environment. JD required; U.S. bar admission preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with complex real estate, data center, or digital infrastructure transactions.
• Experience advising on capital markets and structured finance for infrastructure assets.
• Strong understanding of leasing, lending, title, zoning, and land use.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of AMD's data center transactions, including site selection, power procurement, leasing, and credit support.
• Support capital markets and structured finance transactions, including project finance and data center equipment financing.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Capital Markets, Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, and Finance to align deal structures with business needs.
• Manage outside counsel to control cost and timeline; develop scalable templates and playbooks for recurring transactions.
• Advise Corporate Strategy on capital allocation and large-scale deployment opportunities.
