A leading government organization in Tallahassee seeks an Assistant General Counsel to assist in providing legal services to the State Board of Administration. The role involves contract negotiation, legal research, and oversight of public records, requiring a Juris Doctor degree and relevant experience.
The Assistant General Counsel is responsible for the assisting the General Counsel & Chief Ethics Officer (General Counsel) in providing in-house legal services to the State Board of Administration (SBA). This position is located in Tallahassee, FL and requires on-site, in-office work.
Duties include:
Five years of related experience. Admission to the Florida Bar as a member in good standing. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate's degree, 4 years for a bachelor's degree, 6 years for a master's degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.
