Job summary

Financial Additions is assisting an established hedge fund client in Fort Worth, TX, seeking an Assistant Controller - Fund Accounting to join the team. This hybrid role offers growth potential and a collaborative environment.

You will oversee day-to-day month-end accounting for multiple funds, review NAV deliverables, calculate management and incentive fees, and manage K-1 tax compliance, requiring a CPA and 5+ years in hedge fund accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years accounting within a hedge fund, asset management or investment company.
• Knowledge of hedge fund investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day month end accounting functions for multiple funds, including GL activity, expense processing and maintenance of the accounting system.
• Review of fund NAV deliverables.
• Review calculations of management fees, incentive/performance fees and others.
• Manage tax compliance on K-1 preparation.
