Job summary

Mondrian Alpha seeks an experienced Assistant Fund Controller to own and advance critical fund accounting, financial reporting, P&L and valuation oversight. You will lead a high-performing team and partner closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and investment business to drive performance.

This senior, hands-on role goes beyond BAU, offering the autonomy to improve processes, strengthen controls, and shape the evolution of the fund accounting function as the platform grows

Qualifications

• 15+ years hedge fund accounting/fund finance experience.
• Deep understanding of complex investment products and fund structures.
• Strong track record leading teams and overseeing fund accounting functions.
• Hands-on yet operates at senior level.
• Excellent communication with Finance, Operations and investment teams.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own fund accounting, financial reporting, P&L and valuation oversight, audits and controls.
• Lead a high-performing team and partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and investment teams.
• Proactively improve processes and infrastructure as the platform scales.
• Provide strategic input on how the fund accounting function evolves with growth.
• Balance hands-on work with leadership in a global hedge fund environment.
