Financial Additions is assisting an established and growing Hedge Fund client in Fort Worth searching for a Corporate Assistant Controller to join the team. This position is hybrid. The ideal candidate has corporate accounting experience within a management company.

What you will do

• Oversee day to day accounting functions including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis for a management company
• Assist with financial statement analysis
• Participate in Budgeting and forecasting and make recommendations with leadership
• Work closely with fund accounting team
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards

What qualifications you will bring

• Bachelors Degree Required
• CPA required
• 5+ years accounting within a hedge fund, asset management or investment company
• Strong knowledge of hedge fund investment strategies
• Experience at a corporate/management company
