Xanterra Travel Collection’s Oasis at Death Valley is hiring an Assistant Front Office Manager to support daily operations, uphold AAA Four Diamond standards, and train team members across Front Office, Valet, and Night Audit.

The role offers full-time year-round work in Death Valley National Park, with a typical 40-hour schedule, weekends and holidays as needed, on-site housing options, and benefits such as medical, vision, dental, 401(k) match, and employee discounts.

Competenze

• Knowledge of hospitality operations.
• Proven organizational and management skills.
• Experience with hotel management software.
• Micros Opera property management system preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to type 40 wpm.

Mansioni

• Communicate daily with Inn and Ranch Front Office Managers and Assistant Managers to preempt crises and guest issues.
• Complete assigned duties as requested by supervisors.
• Maintain AAA 4 Diamond standards for Front Office operations.
• Coordinate front office schedules with the Front Office Manager.
• Train and cross-train staff in Front Office, Valet/Bell, and Night Audit operations.
• Ensure all specific room requests are blocked promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with resort departments.
• Resolve guest issues to ensure satisfaction before departure.
• Fill in for Front Office Manager when needed.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and EMS teams to resolve room issues.
• Inspect VIP rooms and monitor guest areas.
• Coordinate with F&B to resolve group or guest issues.
• Make rounds of guest areas as needed.
