Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Foreman in Fishers, Indiana to support hands-on equipment mobilization and project coordination. You will help set up and tear down systems including pumping, power, HVAC, and temporary utilities, while prioritizing safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience with mechanical systems; strong reading of manuals and blueprints is needed, along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics/engineering are a plus.
• Experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, HVAC and restoration equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical interfaces.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good customer interaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist and lead equipment setup and tear down for various systems.
• Coordinate with project leads to monitor timelines and resource allocation.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with company policies on every task.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently for profitable delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to ensure projects are completed on time.
