Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Foreman in Charlotte, NC to support project execution with hands‑on equipment setup and tear down across pumping, power, HVAC and temporary utilities. You will coordinate with project leadership, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to on‑time, profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications/education in mechanics/engineering a plus.
• Experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and water restoration or construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist and lead setup and tear down of equipment for operational systems (pumping, power, HVAC, energy/temporary utilities).
• Actively participate in rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Collaborate with Project Leads to monitor timelines and allocate resources to ensure profitable delivery.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and equipment runs efficiently for client satisfaction.
