Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Foreman to support field operations, ensuring Safe, efficient setup and teardown of pumping, power, HVAC and temporary utility systems. You will coordinate with project leadership to keep timelines on track and drive profitability.

The role requires a high school diploma (engineering/mechanics a plus) and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, along with solid reading of manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics/engineering are a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate operations to ensure projects run on time and within budget.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Leads and management to monitor timelines and resources.
• Lead system mobilization and decommissioning of equipment (pumping, power, HVAC, energy systems).
