Salary: $29.84/hour

Responsibilities

• Manages functions including timekeeping, human resources activities, inventories for fleet and operations, and reports.
• Coordinates building and groundskeeping needs and repairs.
• On call 24/7 for inclement weather and emergencies.
• Researches training opportunities for operations, fleet, and administrative staff and recommends training to management.
• Assists with the annual road program, ice and snow removal, and annual work plan.
• Coordinates operations within the department and ensures requests for service are investigated.
• Visits jobsites during construction season.
• Liaison for the department dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Assists in the preparation of an annual budget for procurement of goods and services for the department.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• Specialized training or certification in a related field may be required.
• Five years of public administrative experience in the public or private sector.
• Combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
• Must possess a valid Class B CDL or obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.
• Must submit to/pass pre‑employment background and drug screen.
